SHAMANISM, SPIRITS, AND HEALING ADVANCED ONLINE TRAINING - Sponsored by The Foundation for Shamanic Studies - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 20, 2022 - 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Eastern Time. In this experiential workshop, which is the gateway for the FSS Shamanic Healing Online Training Program, students will have the opportunity to personally explore: The three worlds of the shaman (Upper, Lower, and Middle Worlds) and the qualities of ordinary and non-ordinary reality; The nature of the compassionate helping spirits of the three worlds; Middle World non-ordinary reality spiritual aspects and their relationship to illness and wholeness. Primary shamanic healing methods will be described, including shamanic extraction healing, psychopomp to help the spirits of the deceased, and soul retrieval. Students will learn and practice power animal retrieval, with the chance to work with another participant to both retrieve and receive a power animal. Students will work in breakout rooms with classmates to practice their new skills. This experiential online training is offered via Zoom interactive video conferencing. Pre-requisites include: (1) The Basic Workshop: Michael Harner's The Way of the Shaman (in-person training) OR The Shamanic Journey: Pathway to Knowledge and Power (online Zoom training); AND Shamanic Divination in Practice (online Zoom training) AND (2) All students must have successfully completed The Shamanic Worldview: Everything is Alive (online Zoom training).
