A baby arrives, and suddenly we are expected to know how to be a parent—a job that we will have for the rest of our lives. This unique 5-hour coaching package prepares about-to-be parents, or even anyone contemplating becoming a parent; as well as stepparents of children of any age: · to discern what your child really needs · how you can appropriately provide for him/her · how to stay centered and specifically address your particular concerns and challenges of parenting. Certified Hypnotherapist and community health and psychiatric nurse, Marjorie Baker Price brought up 4 children as both a partnered and single parent. While doing so, she created a unique counseling and holistic practice called Centering for Empowerment and Development 20 years ago. She is a nurse clinician with specialty areas of practice involving relaxation, imagery, journaling, crisis intervention, healing from grief, and behavioral and recovery therapies. She has presented Spiritual and Creative Parenting, and teacher training workshops in the greater Rochester, NY area. She works extensively with children and parents to create unique, empowered, "win-win" partnerships between them. Marjorie Baker Price is a psychiatric nurse, certified hypnotherapist, and Level III Reiki Master with specialized training in relaxation and imagery, energetic healing and creative expression techniques, crisis intervention, grief work, and behavioral and recovery therapies.
