This conditioning practice, evolved from the exercise principles developed by Joseph Pilates, is intelligent exercise. A primary goal is that of mental and physical harmony. A few well-designed exercises properly performed are significantly more valuable than hours of inattentive, labored, and/or mindless exertions.

Clients become fit, supple and strong, as dynamic imbalances are corrected. Mechanical efficiency, balance, coordination, control and strength diminish the likelihood of injury.
Fundamental mat work and specially designed equipment and apparatus develop this strength and flexibility without adding bulk. The focus is on proper body alignment, the integration of breath with movement, core conditioning and trunk stabilization, and active stretching through full range of motion.
