The Brian McGee Band plays traditional and contemporary roots music influenced by, the tunes and stories that have come out of the soil of North Carolina, and by the urban beat of rock and roll. Brian McGee writes songs that have been dusted by the weird old american songbag. With the help of David Hughes(slide guitar & banjo), Darin Gentry(fiddle) and Mary Dellea(bass) the band has taken Brian's originals to a place somewhat familiar, but new and up to date. The band also plays fiddle tunes of NC & WV, piedmont blues, gospel, ballads, and waltzes. 
Donna performs with Celtic harp, pedal harp or hammered dulcimer as a soloist. David Stevenson on classical guitar and Donna Germano on hammered dulcimer comprise the duo of Classic Touch. Together they provide music for a variety of occasions. Classic Touch frequently performs for corporate events, weddings, and special events such as the Christmas season at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
HOT DUCK SOUP, Burnsville, North Carolina's own great little old-time jazz swing ragtime blues jugband performs their toe-tapping, finger-snapping, fly-swatting, knuckle-busting, head-scratching, hip-swiveling music on banjos, guitars, ukuleles, cornets, kazoos, slide whistles, animal calls, assorted trash, and a washtub bass.
Asheville’s innovative folk group the Mad Tea Party performs original songs as well as novelty jazz and old-time music from the ’20s and ’30s. In the course of a performance they will sing and play ukulele, banjo, guitar, mandolin, tenor banjo, fiddle, kazoo, slide whistle, horns, bells, whistles, and more! Their material ranges from silly to sincere. And their delivery is delightfully refreshing.
